Dear Friends;
As small growers our challenge is to provide a diversity of plant species in multiple sizes and adequate quantities. To that end, we offer many hard-to-find, native, and unusual plants, growing over 400 species of plants in containers and the field on 360 acres. We are always trialing new plants but that can take 4 to 6 years in the field before we list them in our catalog.
We consider our farm to have some of the finest loam soils in New Jersey. Many plants might do well in our care but how will they hold up in your customer’s landscape? Since we propagate most of the shrubs and trees we grow, we have better control over their final outcome of branching habit and root development. Our use of pesticides and herbicides is minimal as we use IPM practices and mechanical weed control. Deer are always a consideration, so part of our diversity challenge is to find deer resistant plants that are hardy and have seasonal interest.
You are always welcome to visit our farm for tagging or just to see our cultural practices and what we have; even bring your customer if you like. We are available for pick-up six days a week during the Spring and Fall seasons, or we can deliver your orders using independent trucking companies at reasonable rates. In either case we want to make the entire process as easy as possible for you.
Since 1982 we have been striving to grow the highest quality shrubs and trees. Our goal is not just to sell you plants but to develop a relationship that lasts for years. This is not just a business for us, it is a passion for growing and pride in our product. We pledge to deliver the best service, always work to improve our quality, and keep our prices reasonable. Thank you.
Sincerely,
