Mission and Purpose

The Environmental Education Center is a non-profit 501-c-3 organization with a mission is to provide hands–on educational experiences for all young people by exploring the complex interconnectedness of our natural world. Our purpose is to educate children about food, agriculture, and the environment. We believe people should make meaningful connections with our natural world in order to become responsible stewards of local and global sustainability.

Mother's Day Brunch

This memorable event takes place under the tent on the terrace at The Inn at Fernbrook Farms, which will be beautifully decorated for your brunch with Mom. After your brunch, an exciting day awaits on the farm with more events including our annual Plant, Tomato & Herb Sale, tractor-pulled wagon rides, and visits to our animals!

Fernbrook Wholesale Nursery opens its doors to the public for two weekends only. Any of Fernbrook’s wide selection of plants are available for purchase including:

For the garden:
• Over 60 varieties of unusual, heirloom, & open pollinated tomato plants.
• Herbs galore!
• And- peppers, lettuces, & more!
