Summer Camp Counselors!
Every summer, we seek enthusiastic instructors to help kids explore their natural curiosities in nature and discover the wonders that can be found in our forest, pond, meadow, creek, farm, and more. Instructors are encouraged to develop and implement their own activities everyday and work both as a team and autonomously. In a given day an instructor’s role could be defined as teacher, facilitator, counselor, comedic actor, naturalist, supervisor, janitor, emergency care giver, coach, or friend–often all at the same time.
We offer competitive summer pay and a fun work environment with opportunities to be creative! Instructors work five days a week, usually from 8 am to 5 pm and duties will include tasks without children that support our programs such as animal feeding, housekeeping, and other facility upkeep. Our summer camp counselor schedule runs from June 19th to August 25th which includes a staff training week.

Field Trip Instructors!
Every year, we seek enthusiastic teachers to work on our farm teaching students about the CSA farm fields, fishing at the pond, learning at the animal barn, investigating our soil, and so much more! The field trip teacher’s responsibility includes helping set up and clean up field trips, teaching pre-planned lessons during a 3-4 hour field trip, and ensuring general safety of students on and around our farm.
We offer field trips five days a week from September through June with the busy seasons being mid-September through mid-November and late March through mid-June. Hours are typically 9:30-2:00pm and Field Trip Instructors can pick the days they are available. If interested, there may be opportunities for further work with our education center if you desire more hours or if you wish to stay with us after the field trip season ends.
