Frequently Asked Questions

When do I pick up my summer share?

Our anticipated hours this season are:

  • Wednesdays, 11 am – 6 pm
  • Thursdays, 11 am – 6 pm
  • Fridays, 8 am – 1 pm
  • Saturdays, 8 am – 1 pm

The week “starts” on Wednesday, and you can come on any day. Please pick-up your entire share for the week on one day. Pick-ups run for 26 weeks, usually from Memorial Day through Thanksgiving.

What if we're on vacation?

Offer your share to a friend that week! Or pick up extra food the following week.

What about the Pick-Your-Own crops?

Some of our crops are pick-your-own. Peas, beans, flowers, cherry tomatoes, blackberries, etc. You can pick these during farm shop hours or come Monday – Friday before 7pm, and Saturday, 8am – 12:30pm (our shop hours). Pick-your-own information will be posted in the farm shop.

Can I split a share?

Yes. Buy a full share and arrange to split it with another person or family. We ask that you schedule it so each shareholder picks up a full share every other week.

Can I Buy Extra Food?

When we have a surplus of a certain crop, we offer it for sale in the farm shop at wholesale prices. We do this as a convenience to people who want to stock up by freezing peppers, pickling cucumbers, putting up tomato sauce, and so on. Selling bulk food allows us to provide more food to families who can use it at very reasonable prices without burdening other shareholders who find that the farm share is already plenty of food for their needs.
