Joining us for our Spring “Down to Earth” dinner is special guest and mushroom grower, KC Sullivan, owner of Two River Gourmet Mushrooms in Millstone, NJ. 

Our menu will feature spring season produce, grown and harvested in the fields just beyond the hoophouse and of course, mushrooms!  Menu highlights will include Oyster Mushroom Farro Risotto, Forest Medley Stuffed Chicken and Chocolate Truffle Cake with Mushroom Brittle Ice Cream.  We will also have live music by Slugger O’Toole, a farm favorite at Fernbrook.

Two River Gourmet Mushrooms is a small local mushroom farm owned and operated by KC Sullivan Marilyn Schlossbach and Scott Szegeski. They grow high quality organic, gourmet mushrooms for the talented, passionate and knowledgeable chefs and home cooks who demand only the finest ingredients. They aim to make their culinary mushrooms a staple in the two river area and establish a love for mushrooms not only as a sustainable food source but also an appreciation of their medicinal qualities and usefulness in mycoremediation.

Reservations are required to save your spot. $95 per person, gratuities included. This is a BYO event so feel free to bring a bottle of wine or beer to enjoy at your table.  Suggestions for wines include Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Grenache or a Rhone-style blend. 

Arrive at 6:00 to meet & mingle with our guest KC, Fernbrook owners and staff.  Seating will begin at 6:45 at our farmhouse tables,  family-style dinner to follow.  Private table reservations are available for groups of 8 people. Due to the nature of our fresh products and limited seating, refunds are not available and guests under 18 years of age are not recommended.
