Two day workshop June 3 & 4, 10am to 4pm

The Inn at Fernbrook Farms welcomes back the artistic talents Pam Thompson of Draw Botanical for another workshop! Draw Botanical is a leader in teaching botanical illustration techniques using colored pencil and watercolor throughout the world.

ABOUT THIS 2-DAY WORKSHOP:  Celebrate the joy of spring by learning how to draw flowers with Draw Botanical instructor, Pam Thompson. Our inspiration will be the beautiful abundant flowers featured at The Inn at Fernbrook Farm. Take some time to slow down, relax, and connect with nature while you learn how to combine watercolor with colored pencil to create vibrant, rich, drawings that leap off the page. From absolute beginners to experienced artists, this workshop is designed for students of all levels. Students will be served fresh, individual farm to table picnic lunches each day.

ABOUT THE ARTIST: Pam Thompson is a Draw Botanical instructor, botanical artist, and scientist in Pennsylvania where she strives to capture the unique, intrinsic artistry of the plants that inspire her. After earning her PhD in chemistry, she worked in the biotechnology field, and raised a family. She discovered Botanical Art in 2017 when she attended a workshop with Wendy Hollender, founder of Draw Botanical www.drawbotanical.com.  She’s been head over heels since, loves teaching for Draw Botanical, and strives to create an inviting and un-intimidating atmosphere for students of all levels to learn new skills and get inspired by nature.

A supplies list will be emailed to you when your reservation has been confirmed. Instruction will be from 10:00 – 4:00, but you can arrive at 9:30 to get settled in and set up your drawing space.
